With a second grader in an SFUSD Spanish immersion school and a toddler, I'm ready to fight for the kids of San Francisco.

I'm the daughter of a conservative car salesman and a working class Latina who raised me with progressive Catholic values. Growing up, I learned how to be a fighter.

In college, I became an activist, leading campus organizing to hold the administration accountable for rampant sexual assault against my fellow students.

I moved to San Francisco nearly twenty years ago and I've been a public servant for over a decade. As a Deputy City Attorney, I fought for the people of San Francisco, working to solve some of our city's biggest problems. I've won cases that people once thought were impossible, including securing $350 million to fight the opioid epidemic on our streets.
